D. Scott Welton has been a leading sales agent for over 40 years and he is a registered representative of WSS.  A Charlotte native, Scott graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.  He served his country in the US Army for two years specializing in cryptography and communications.  Through estate planning, Scott has served a broad base of professional and executive clients, helping them from the point of estate creation to the need for estate preservation.  This has included counseling these clients on their needs for security for the family, education needs, pre-retirement and post retirement needs.
